Partners & Sponsors of Concert of Colors

Concert of Colors is made possible through the support of dedicated partners and sponsors who share a commitment to arts, culture, and community in Detroit.

As one of the nation’s largest free global music festivals, Concert of Colors relies on collaboration to bring world-class performances and cultural programming to Midtown Detroit each year.

Our Partners

Concert of Colors is proud to collaborate with a network of leading cultural institutions, community organizations, and media partners across Southeast Michigan.

These partnerships help expand access to the arts, support local communities, and create a multi-venue festival experience across Detroit’s cultural district.

In 2026, the Concert of Colors is collaborating with the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage and the Smithsonian Folklife Festival on Of the People: The Smithsonian Festival of Festivals - a series of co-curated programs and exchanges to amplify the role of festivals in civic engagement, cultural exchange and reciprocal learning, as well as to mark the nation's 250th anniversary.  Of the People comprises 34 collaborating festivals and more than a dozen Spotlight Programs spanning 27 states and 2 U.S. territories.  We are also pleased to work with the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), which has partnered with the nationwide semiquincentennial organization Freedom 250 to celebrate the 250th anniversary through arts and cultural initiatives.

Our Sponsors

Concert of Colors is supported by sponsors who believe in the power of music to bring people together and strengthen communities.

Their contributions help ensure the festival remains free and accessible to all, while supporting artists, programming, and operations across multiple venues.

This Concert of Colors received funding from the Smithsonian’s “Our Shared Future: 250,” a Smithsonian-wide initiative supported by private philanthropy and created to commemorate the nation’s 250th anniversary and advance the Smithsonian vision for the next 250 years.
